This beginning art course teaches the principals of art. Students will explore basic art techniques, such as drawing, painting, graphic arts, collage, ceramics, and sculpture! Art criticism, aesthetics, and art history are an integral part of the class. Students are required to bring in a pack of 20 pencils and a spiral bound notebook. Students will also have many opportunities to explore careers in the arts, showcase their artwork in the exhibitions as well as compete in different competitions and much more!
