“Dalchyn” Education Centre offers English courses for kids of age 7-12. Children are divided by level and age. Children aged between 7-9 years old study in KIDS 1 group. KIDS 1 consist of seven levels, which are called: Starter, Level-1, Level-2, Level-3, Level-4, and Level 5 and Level-6. Duration of each class is 1.5 hour (90 minutes) with 10 minutes break between each 45 minutes. We use Cambridge University Press books called Kid’s box for this course. This book is well loved by children and teachers all over the world. Kid’s box is bursting with bright ideas to inspire our pupils. The course presents and practices new language through entertaining stories and fantastic songs, making the learning process a joy.
Those who have studied English before, are offered to take the placement test to identify their level of English. Groups are combined based on students’ level of knowledge. In order to make fair assessment of our learners’ knowledge, we conduct two tests (midterm and final test) during the course of study. Final score is based on the result of these two tests. We strive to maintain strict control of quality both at delivering the course and assessing the level of knowledge gained in our Education Centre. If a student does not achieve the minimum score on the test, they are offered to retake the course. Once a month students are invited to participate in additional practice lessons, which focus on developing communicative skills. These can include discussion group, reading group, watching movies and language practice with native speakers.
